Why do people take crystal meth? As with many stimulates, Crystal meth creates a euphoria when taken in large doses. This gives them a strong felling of confidence, happiness, and a massive boost to energy. This boost of energy can last up to 12 hours. People usually start taking meth because they feel they need the energy it gives or the happy feeling.

How do people become addicted to crystal meth? Crystal meth works by flooding the brain with chemicals that give a good feeling. Over time the brain becomes use to the amount of this chemical it has in it when the drug is used. This means that a person begins needing to use more and more of the drug just to get the same high they got the first time. Soon, they will need to take the drug just to keep the opposite effect from happening.

What are the long term effects of crystal meth use? Crystal meth, when used for a long period of time, will cause your teeth and nose to rot away, then psychosis and hallucinations, and finally organ failure and heart attacks.
